KK Cibona is a professional basketball club from Zagreb, Croatia. The team was founded in 1946 and has achieved significant success both domestically and internationally.
KK Cibona has won the Croatian League a record 27 times, the Croatian Cup 19 times and the ABA League twice. The team has also enjoyed success in European competitions, winning the EuroLeague three times in 1985, 1986, and 1987, and reaching the finals in 1988 and 1989.
KK Cibona has a strong tradition of developing young talent, with many notable players beginning their careers with the club. These include Dražen Petrović, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest European basketball players of all time.
The team plays its home games at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall, named after the legendary player. The current head coach of KK Cibona is Veljko Mršić, who took over in 2020.
